Harbourfront Centre has long been a destination to tap in to many great cultural moments in Toronto. We are proud have created such strong offerings with them. We have help Harboufront Centre produce 12 event based activations over a 2 year span, including Island soul, BRAVE, and Labour Day Weekend. Through our events we have brought 22 DJs in to the Harbourfront space.

EDIT: EXPO OF DESIGN AND INNOVATION

How do you engage a bunch of curious and open minded Torontonians? Design Exchange hosted a large scale design and innovation expo in the old Unilever soap factory. We got the call to be involved in providing entertainment for this expansive event that brought some of most interesting minds in science and technology together, to ignite conversations through an array of curated exhibits, compelling talks, and inspiring installations. Picture an old factory repurposed to house a 2-week long expo, with our job to provide an entertaining DJ based event in their parking lot on the final weekend. This family friendly offering featured 9 DJs, beginning in the early afternoon and continuing in to the evening hours. Check out some footage from the event in our feature video on our home page. Musically we went from the emerging new sounds of Toronto’s underground scene to dancefloor anthems. Don’t miss out on future like this. Membership has it’s benefits. Join our mailing list here.

HARRY STYLES ALBUM RELEASE

Sony Music Canada connected with us to host a couple special private listening sessions in Montreal and Toronto for Harry Styles album Fine Line. The events were hosted 2 weeks before the actual release date, catering to avid fans engaged through his fan club and local radio contesting. In order to keep the music under wraps and prevent any chance of audio leaking from the events, they contacted us to provide the system for a Sony run silent listening session. The events were a huge success, and no audio was leaked!

ITSOK FALL FILM SERIES

Let’s start by saying our friends at It’s OK are always up to something good. The crew are continually producing forward thinking and thoughtful events, taking you to unique spaces like boxing gyms or churches to hear some of the best music on the planet. In the fall of 2020, it’s OK wanted to host some outdoor movie nights, a way of bringing folks together after what had been a long summer in COVID lockdown. We supported them on their initiative by providing a logistic solution for audio for these outdoor film screenings, which were held mainly on playing fields at local downtown schools in Toronto. The films featured in the fall mini-series included Mo Betta Blues and Poetic Justice, and tickets were priced at a similar rate to seeing a movie at the theatre. What happens when you take some Toronto’s most connected and active creative class and you bring them to an summer camping retreat, for an opportunity gain insights by stepping away from the noise of the city and checking in with each other and themselves. Well the answer is simple Reset. Imagine a select group 50 people go to the woods, and they create alter-persona names (not using their gov names at all during the retreat). No phones, no laptops, no cameras…fully unplugged. Now you see why we ask you to imagine. Hit us up to see how we can add a new experience to your upcoming event/gathering.
