WHAT DOES AIRMOVES DO?
We create experiences through curated talent selection, based on over 20-years of concert and event production in the GTA.
Despite our extensive work in event presentation, we discovered a new and fun way to add offerings to our repertoire. Since 2018, AIRMOVES has worked with record labels, music and arts festivals, artists, event planners, and cultural institutions. And of course…everyday folks looking to have a good time!
OUR TEAM
Jesse Ohtake
Jesse is the founder of The Academy, a Toronto based concert and event production company. He’s a music curator, talent booker and consultant, and a member of the founding team at Manifesto Festival. The Academy has presented Canadian debut concerts featuring Post Malone, Mahalia, Little Simz, and John Legend (in partnership with Wan).
Wan Lucas
As a culture worker he wears many hats. Wan is a curator, event producer & MC (master of ceremonies). He’s held positions as the music director at Manifesto Festival and a member of the marketing team at BMG Music and has had stint artist DJ representation. He moonlights as a multidisciplinary artist, whose passion is to showcase new talent.
